Attorney C. William Kenny is a 1991 graduate of Duquesne University, where he earned his bachelor’s degree in English with a minor in history. He spent a year abroad at Trinity College, Dublin University, studying Medieval and Renaissance Literature. Mr. Kenny then returned to Pennsylvania where he obtained his Juris Doctor from Duquesne University School of Law in 1998. Although he had childhood dreams that included being an architect, he always loved the idea of helping people. This led him to his career choice as an attorney.
Attorney Kenny has over 20 years of legal experience in both simple and complex civil law suits in State and Federal Courts and State and Federal Appellate Courts. He has represented individuals in claims such as slip and fall, negligence, wrongful death, medical malpractice, product liability and battery, as well as damages from breach of contract, fraud and property disputes. One of Mr. Kenny’s most memorable cases involved a young football player who was rendered a quadriplegic after an accident involving defective helmets. His client ultimately prevailed after the case ended up in the Supreme Court of Ohio.
Attorney Kenny now represents injured accident victims at Berger and Green, P.C. in claims including: multi-vehicle accidents, slip and fall, premise liability, and dog bite incidents. Mr. Kenny says what he loves most about his job is simply having the opportunity to help people. He enjoys using the specialized skills and experience to help his clients get through an often overly complex and stressful situation.
Mr. Kenny counsels his clients to focus on getting the medical treatment they need to heal while he focuses on the many legal issues that arise because of being injured by someone else’s negligence. Attorney Kenny works hard to secure full compensation for his client’s losses. Ultimately, he hopes his clients are happy with the results and the services he has provided. He hopes that they can heal physically and financially.
Attorney Kenny is a member of the Pennsylvania Association for Justice (PAJ), the Western Pennsylvania Trial Lawyers Association (WPTLA). He is also a member of the St. Thomas More Society, where he served as past president. Mr. Kenny is also a Martindale-Hubbell AV rated attorney. This is the highest level of professionalism an attorney may be rated by their peers.
Mr. Kenny shares his home with his wife Jennifer, his two sons, Jack and Liam and his two dogs Max and Cooper.
