David B. Custar

Prior to graduating from the University of Oklahoma College of Law in 1986, David Custar earned a Bachelor of Business Administration (with Honors) from the University of Oklahoma. Mr. Custar has practiced in Oklahoma District Court, Federal District Court, Bankruptcy Court, and before state agencies and boards. He has been practicing in Oklahoma workers’ compensation since 1987.

David currently practices primarily before the Oklahoma Workers’ Court of Existing Claims and the Oklahoma Workers’ Compensation Commission. Additionally, he pursues recovery of client expenditures via subrogation. David has also been active in appellate advocacy for workers’ compensation clients for most of his career, and he is also a mediator approved by the Oklahoma Workers’ Compensation Court of Existing Claims and the Oklahoma Workers’ Compensation Commission. Other areas of past practice include bankruptcy and business law.

David is admitted to the Oklahoma Bar Association and he is past officer of the Appellate Practice Section.
