Eileen P. Mulroy, Esq. is admitted to the New Jersey Bar, New York Bar, US District Court, District of New Jersey and the US Supreme Court. She received her JD degree from the Albany Law School in 1982. She was President of her Senior Class and received the Winner & Best Brief Award in the Gabrielli Moot Court Competition. She received her BA degree from Manhattan College in 1979 with Magna Cum Laude honors with a major in History and American Studies.
Ms. Mulroy’s legal experience spans association with Bergen County Legal Services, the Archdiocese of Newark, two prominent Workers’ Compensation firms and includes 12 years of a Workers’ Compensation defense practice with staff counsel of AIG.
Ms. Mulroy served as a court appointed Arbitrator for the New Jersey Superior Court Bergen County in personal-injury and auto cases from 1995 through 2012. She is currently President of the Bergen County Bar Foundation as well as Second Vice-President of the Bergen County Bar Association and Co-Chair of their Workers’ Compensation Section.
Eileen Mulroy served on the New Jersey Supreme Court, District II B Ethics Committee from 1996 through 2000, 2012 through 2015 and 2017 through 2018 and served as Chair from 2015 through 2017.
She has been a Member of the Women Lawyers in Bergen from 1983 to present and served as President from 2003 through 2005. She is a regular contributor to the quarterly WLIB Newsletter. She has been a member of the Justice Coleman Workers’ Compensation Inns of Court from 2001 to the present. She has been a member of the New Jersey State Bar Association from 1983 to the present and has served on the Workers’ Compensation Executive Board from 2014 to the present. She has been a speaker at the Mid-Year Meetings of the New Jersey State Bar Association in 2011, 2012, 2014 and 2016. She served on the Insurance Benefits Committee from 2008 through 2018. Ms. Mulroy has been on the New Milford Planning Board from 2000 to 2010 and on the Northern New Jersey Fair Housing Council from 2002 to 2006.
