Growing up just north of Pittsburgh in Gibsonia, some of Jeremy Papp's earliest memories involve his father working in a steel mill and his mother attending night school to become a registered nurse. Coming from a hardworking, blue-collar family, his interest in law began when he recognized a legal career as an avenue to help others.
After graduating from Hampton High School, he attended Penn State and majored in business management with a minor in pre-law. Following college, Jeremy returned home to attend The University of Pittsburgh School of Law. During his time in law school, he was a member of the Securities Arbitration Clinic, representing small investors against banks and other financial institutions. Additional time was devoted to the Journal of Technology Law and Policy where he had an article published on the rise and importance of Bitcoin Technology.
In 2013, Jeremy began his time at GPW as a law clerk, drafting discovery requests, reviewing depositions, researching and drafting memoranda and filing subpoenas, among many other responsibilities. Just over two years later, Jeremy became a practicing attorney with GPW.
Despite his time at Pitt, Jeremy is still an avid Penn State fan. He currently resides in Friendship, and spends his free time golfing and enjoying Pittsburgh's sports and entertainment scenes.
