Jessika Lorie is Managing Partner of the firm's Fort Lauderdale, Tampa and Orlando, Florida offices. Ms. Lorie has been representing employers, insurance companies, and their servicing agents since 2001. She has experience handling all types of workers' compensation cases, to include coverage disputes and contribution matters. Ms. Lorie has successfully defended cases from inception to trial/settlement, handling all aspects of litigation. Her personalized focus to the details of every case, together with a dedicated commitment to the client's goals, allow her to deliver solutions that meet all of the client's legal needs.
Ms. Lorie was born and raised in Miami, Florida. She attended Florida Atlantic University in Boca Raton, Florida where she graduated, cum laude, with a Bachelor of Arts degree in both Marketing and International Business. Ms. Lorie received her Juris Doctor from the University of Miami, School of Law in Coral Gables, Florida. While attending law school, Ms. Lorie worked as a paralegal for a large workers' compensation defense firm and served as a legal clerk for the Miami-Dade County School Board.
Ms. Lorie is fluent in Spanish and licensed to practice law before all courts in the State of Florida. She is a member of the Dade and Broward County Bar Associations, and a certified Continuing Education Instructor with the State of Florida.
