Kevin Mulderig brings to the firm over 30 years of expansive personal injury litigation experience. Over the last 8 years, Mr. Mulderig has been almost exclusively involved in asbestos litigation. As a former Commissioned Officer in the U.S. Navy, his knowledge of Navy ships and aircraft as well as shipyard equipment and protocol are unsurpassed. He has also assembled a team of experts from all Navy ratings, to assist Navy Veterans and shipyard workers in identifying when and how they were exposed to asbestos.After graduating from LaSalle University, he entered the Navy and received his commission through the Navy’s prestigious Aviation Officer Candidate School. He subsequently attended Surface Warfare School (SWOS) where he was extensively trained in shipboard engineering. This involved all equipment in the steam propulsion and auxiliary equipment systems. Upon graduating from SWOS, he was assigned to the USS Saratoga (CV-60) which was homeported out of Mayport, FL. During his tour on the “Sara”, she underwent the largest overhaul in Navy history at the Philadelphia Naval Shipyard (PNSY). As the Division officer of a 600-man division, he oversaw the removal, refurbishment and reconstruction of equipment throughout the ship, as well as gaining extensive knowledge of asbestos usage and abatement protocol. He also developed professional relationships with numerous crew members, both enlisted men and officers as well as shipyard personnel; many of which he maintains to date. This array of talent and expertise on Mr. Mulderig’s team is unmatched.
Mr. Mulderig is a member of numerous Navy/Military Veterans organizations and dedicates much of his free time, in volunteer work to assist Veterans and their families. He is also approved to practice before the Department of Veterans Affairs.
