Attorney Mark Malak graduated from Rowan University with honors and earned his bachelor’s degree in political science in 2010. Upon graduation, he went on to attend Hofstra University School of Law, where he earned his Juris Doctor in 2013.
During law school, Attorney Malak was awarded a legal fellowship by Legal Services, where he represented and fought for clients who could not afford to hire their own private attorneys. At this position, he was honored and recognized for his service to the public. In addition, Mr. Malak belonged to his law school’s Criminal Justice Clinic, where he defended individuals charged with misdemeanors in county court.
Attorney Malak joined Berger and Green, P.C. in 2019, where he proudly represents and fights for disabled individuals. Prior to joining Berger and Green, Mr. Malak litigated Social Security Disability cases in over 30 states. Mr. Malak takes great pride in representing his clients and treats everyone with the utmost respect and professionalism. He is hard-working and determined to make things right for his clients.
Attorney Malak serves on the membership committee of the National Organization of Social Security Claimants Representatives (NOSSCR). With over 4,000 members, NOSSCR is the largest group of attorneys advocating for the rights of disabled individuals. He is also a member of the Allegheny County Bar Association, the Committee on Law and Disability, the Committee for Diversity and Inclusion, as well as the Social Security Practitioners Committee. He is licensed to practice law in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, the State of New York, the State of New Jersey, and in all Social Security Courts throughout the United States.
