James (“Jimmy”) is an attorney in our litigation department, primarily focusing on personal injury and criminal defense in our Savannah, Georgia office.
James handles cases involving motor vehicle accidents, tractor-trailer accidents, wrongful death, remises liability, as well as D.U.I. and criminal matters.
James was born in Barstow, California and raised in Perry, Georgia. In 2008, James graduated from Armstrong Atlantic State University with honors, majoring in history with a minor in political science.
James graduated from Mercer University’s Walter F. George School of Law in 2013 and while at Mercer, James was on the Dean’s List, was a member of the Phi Alpha Delta Honors Society, and was awarded certificates in Public Interest work and Legal Writing and Research.
James worked for the Bibb County Public Defender’s office as a clerk, and then as an Assistant Public Defender from 2012 to 2014. James then began working at Dozier Law Firm as an Associate Attorney in 2014.
James currently lives in Savannah with his wife, Suzannah, a labor and delivery nurse, and their dogs Banjo and Layla.
