Shilo Borja is the Managing Partner in our firm’s Las Vegas office. Ms. Borja earned her Bachelor’s Degree, cum laude, in Public Administration from the University of Arizona. Thereafter, she attended California Western School of Law on a full scholarship where she earned her Juris Doctorate in 2006. While in law school, Ms. Borja served as the Managing Editor of the Law Review and also received the American Jurisprudence Award for her performance in her Federal Income Tax.
Ms. Borja began her legal career as a prosecutor, where she worked in the juvenile delinquency department and independently handled the prosecution of various felonies and misdemeanors ranging from violent armed robberies to cases involving drug and theft offenses. She then began her career in the private field working as an associate at a large full-service law firm where she represented numerous trucking companies, corporate retail companies, as well as private individuals, and handled all aspects of pre-trial litigation for insurance defense, products liability and premises liability defense cases. Prior to joining Testan Law, PC, Ms. Borja also handled workers’ compensation defense matters, as well as related subrogation matters. She has successfully tried, argued and prevailed in numerous hearings before the Court.
Ms. Borja is licensed to practice law in all the courts of the State of Nevada, and is also admitted to practice law in California and the District of Columbia.
