Suri Cruise Benefits Most From Parents’ Divorce

While it may be Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes that are left to deal with the aftermath of their divorce, their daughter Suri sure has nothing to complain about.

America’s most well-dressed six-year-old made out like a bandit after her parents called it quits, gaining a pretty sizeable trust fund.

“Katie wanted the trust fund put in place for Suri so that their daughter will be able to tap into after she turns eighteen years old,” said a source close to RadarOnline.com exclusively. “Katie has absolutely no access to the money and didn’t want to. She just wanted to ensure that Suri would have financial security as she becomes an adult. It’s a sizable trust fund, but Suri won’t be able to fully legally claim it until she is in her 30s. Tom had no problem with the request and planned on doing it for Suri anyway.”

While Suri may have gotten a pretty penny, Katie, well, not so much. The couple had a prenuptial agreement in place, which stipulates that Katie will not be getting any of Tom’s millions. But the last thing the former “Dawson’s Creek” starlet needs is a hand out.

Katie’s own clothing line is taking off, along with her acting career, which has started to bloom once again. Plus, she gets primary child custody, so it’s a win-win situation indeed.

Garth was recently spotted with Abrams after a movie holding hands and seemingly infatuated. Abrams, a photographer who has shot editorials for top magazines, including Sports Illustrated, Rolling Stone, and Vanity Fair met Garth through a mutual friend and have been dating ever since, according to People magazine.

Not too shabby for Garth, who filed for divorce on March 28 after 11 years of marriage, citing “irreconcilable differences.”

She recently spoke with Us Weekly about getting back in the dating game, saying: “[Dating] is very new for me. I have training wheels on right now, because I was married [for so long]. Divorce Still Delayed for Kim Kardashian and Kris Humphries

Kim Kardashian and Kris Humphries are at it again. The NBA star has refused to set a trial date for the ex-couple’s long-awaited-for divorce until he can interview Kim’s mom, Kris Jenner, and her current boyfriend, Kanye West.

A divorce attorney for Humphries said it will be at least four months before a trial will be set and says Kardashian hasn’t really done anything to speed things along.

“I don’t want to use the word ‘uncooperative,’ but they are not making the process easier,” said Humphries’ divorce lawyer, Marshall Waller, according to E!

Waller has requested business records from Kris Jenner, which he has yet to receive and needs in order for the deposition to proceed.  The information Waller seeks is part of an effort to prove the couple’s 72-day marriage was a fraud.

“To say I am frustrated is an understatement,” said Laura Wasser, Kardashian’s divorce lawyer. “I’m at a loss to figure out what the holdup is. They had a prenup and were married 72 days.”

Wasser said her client has already incurred $250,000 in legal fees, which she plans to bill to Humphries.

The couple’s short-lived marriage began in August 2011 and ended when Kardashian filed for divorce on Oct. 31, citing irreconcilable differences.

Kenny G Files for Divorce

After being separated from his wife for seven months, Kenny G has decided to file for divorce.

The 56-year-old jazz musician, whose real name is Kenneth Bruce Gorelick, has cited irreconcilable differences in his Aug. 9 petition for divorce from his wife of 20 years, Balynda Helene Benson-Gorelick.

Benson-Gorelick was the one to file for legal separation in January, also citing irreconcilable differences. She has requested full physical custody of the couple’s young child, Noah, 14, while Kenny G is asking for joint custody.

Perhaps the couple’s divorce will go smoothly, as the pair drafted a prenuptial agreement at the time of their marriage in 1992. However, having a prenuptial agreement in place does not automatically mean all the details will be upheld.

There have been cases in which a judge overthrows provisions in a pre-nup, regardless of what the couple agreed to.

Because so many things can go wrong with a divorce, it is always wise to hire a top divorce attorney to ensure proceedings run as smoothly and as quickly as possible.

Divorce lawyers help you avoid major and minor complications in your case and will see to it that your rights are upheld. Jennie Garth Talks Post-Divorce Weight Loss and Staying Healthy

There has been a lot of talk over Jennie Garth’s recent post-divorce weight loss, but the former “90210” starlet is refusing to be bullied.

The 40-year-old recently split with “Twilight” star Peter Facinelli and has slimmed down a good bit, but while some have criticized her slender frame, Garth is speaking out, explaining how the emotional stress that comes with a divorce sometimes takes a toll on a person.

“I’ve been certainly going through a transitional time in my life,” Garth explained to “ET.” “And I think anybody who has been through something like what I’m going through and have been going through for the past couple years, can definitely relate that your body changes with your emotional state of mind sometimes. I think a lot of women can relate to that.”

While Garth is by no means ultra thin, as always, there will be haters.

For now, the mother of three is trying to maintain a healthy diet with plenty of fruits and vegetables in order to set a good example to her girls: Luca, 15; Lola, 9; and Fiona, 5.

Garth and Facinelli separated on Jan. 1 after 11 years of marriage and officially filed for divorce in March.  Since then, Garth has come a long way and has been healing emotionally and is even open to the idea of dating again.

Another Reality TV “Housewife” to Get Divorced

Another one of “The Real Housewives” is in need of a divorce attorney. This time, it’s former “Real Housewives of New Jersey” castmate Kim G whose marriage is biting the dust.

Kim, who revealed she was going through a divorce during season 3, says one of the reasons she decided to leave the reality show was because it was affecting her marriage.

“My husband told me to quit the show and change my name or he would divorce me. Of course he divorced me anyway,” Kim said jokingly.

When speaking of her castmates, Kim certainly didn’t nice things to say, which was one of the other likely reasons she left the show.

“Most of that bunch don’t have a pot to piss in or a window to throw it out of,” said Kim. “They pretend to be something they’re not, they owe everybody, their landscapers, their accountants, even the caterers that throw those fancy parties haven’t been paid, and that’s just not what I’m about. I am who I am, I don’t have that sense of entitlement, I believe in paying my bills. ”

When asked how her life had changed during and after the show, Kim admitted she felt isolated because of the impression the show left on others, so she decided to start an “Ex-Wives Club.”

The Ex-Wives Club is Kim’s version of a support group to help women who are undergoing a divorce.

”We get together, to compare notes, share advice, or just a hug or a laugh. And we remind each other that this isn’t the end, in fact, it’s the beginning of a whole new and better life.”

If you are going through a divorce or legal separation, turn to a divorce lawyer right now to ensure your case ends positively.

Who Does Suri Cruise Want to Live With?

Rumors have been circulating that 6-year-old Suri Cruise would rather live with her dad Tom than mom Katie Holmes, but is there any truth to these speculations?

Tabloids are claiming Tom wooed his daughter after a recent visit by taking her on an expensive getaway that cost around $170,000. Perhaps Suri may have been impressed, but was that elaborate show enough to convince the little girl to live with her dad?

Whether she may want to live with Tom or not, Suri is going to have to deal with the child custody arrangements that were agreed upon in divorce court.

Both Tom and Katie agreed that Katie would have primary custody of Suri, with liberal visitation rights for Tom.

In the meantime, Suri can chat with dad whenever she wants. Phone calls and video chats for both parents are unlimited.

Tom Cruise Contemplates Filing Counter Divorce

Tom Cruise is not one to go down without a fight. Sources say that he is planning out his own divorce filing, despite his wife, Katie Holmes, doing so a week ago.

One of the actor’s divorce lawyers, Bert Fields, confirmed that the 50-year-old “Rock of Ages” star has made plans to file for divorce, but for the moment, has opted to let Holmes take the forefront in the media before making any moves with a counter divorce.

“Tactically we can’t say where Tom will file a divorce case and if he’ll be seeking joint custody of Suri,” said Fields. “We are letting ‘the other side’ play the media until they wear everyone out and then we’ll have something to say.”

Seeing as how both Cruise and Holmes are very private people, it is not likely that the media will get too much out of either.

Homes filed for divorce on June 28 in New York and is seeking sole custody of 6-year-old Suri. Sources say Holmes is in fear that Cruise’s fellow Scientologists will abduct her.

Many speculate Cruise will file a counter divorce in California, seeking joint custody, but the actor’s representatives have yet to confirm.

Meanwhile, the former “Dawson’s Creek” starlet has moved to a downtown Manhattan apartment with Suri.
