A native of Miami, Florida, Jonah Wolfson understands both the joys and challenges of living and working in Southern Florida. There is an inherent clash between the laid-back outdoor vibe of the area and the hustle and bustle that is inherent in Miami being one of the largest metropolitan areas in the United States. Unfortunately, when the two collide, it can result in serious personal injuries, whether caused by distracted drivers in automobile accidents, intoxicated tourists injuring pedestrians or cyclists, or greedy business owners valuing money more than the safety of civilians.
Always eager to explore the world, Jonah is a graduate of Boston College and the Chicago-Kent College of Law. Between college and law school, Jonah spent time hiking the Appalachian Trail, and, during law school he helped pay for school by working on a commercial fishing boat. However, his heart belonged in Southern Florida, and, after graduating from law school he returned to Miami.
Though he spent time working with Chicago Office of the Public Defender while in law school, JonahÍs passion has always been personal injury law. He spent several years working in insurance defense work, where he learned exactly how insurance companies and their lawyers seek to defeat plaintiff claims and how to negotiate effectively with their representatives. He believes that personal injury law is one of the least appreciated areas of the law, and that it is very necessary to help victims deal with the complex blend of physical, financial, and emotional problems that result from personal injuries.
