Portland area attorney Douglas Green always dreamed of being a trial attorney and working zealously to protect his clientÍs rights. He started to live out his dream right after law school, when he began working for the Metropolitan Public DefenderÍs Office. At the Metropolitan Public DefenderÍs Office, he tried cases ranging from misdemeanors to robberies and serious felonies. He also tried juvenile cases, which led to an understanding of the hybrid criminal, family, and civil law that informs juvenile justice proceedings. Doug then decided to experience civil law, and went to work for a litigation firm handling personal injury cases from the defense perspective.

When he decided to open his own practice, Doug put his experience as both a criminal defense lawyer and a personal injury defense attorney to use. He worked in both criminal defense and personal injury throughout the Portland area, with clients in Lake Oswego, Tigard, Beaverton, Milwaukee, Hillsboro, Tualatin, and Sherwood. He has also worked in Washington and Vancouver.

Doug understands that the legal process can be intimidating for people and that many people with personal injuries or accused of committing crimes are unfamiliar with the legal system, which can challenge their understanding of the process. He helps guide his clients through whatever legal challenges they are facing, helping them understand when a settlement or plea is advantageous, but not afraid to take a case to trial to protect his clientÍs best interests.

If you have experienced a personal injury or are facing criminal charges, you do not have to face it alone. Contact Doug for a free consultation.
