Literally a world traveler, attorney Eric Woods can say with experience that there is no place he would rather be than in Las Vegas. Not quite a native, Eric moved to Law Vegas in 1981 and has been practicing law in Clark County since 1982, though he remains an active member of the California Bar, as well.
A graduate of St. JohnÍs College, and the McGeorge School of Law at the University of the Pacific, Eric was fortunate to spend time studying abroad, including an internship at the European Union Common Market Offices in Brussels, Belgium. In addition to his J.D., Eric holds a Master in Law (LL.M.) in International Business and Taxation.
Admitted to practice before the United States Supreme Court, the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals, the California Federal District Courts, and the Federal District Courts of Nevada, in addition to Nevada and California state level courts, Eric loves litigation and has spent over three decades working in a broad range of civil litigation matters, including personal injury claims. While he finds that he is often able to reach an amicable settlement for clients, what differentiates Eric from many of his peers is that he handles litigation, personally, so that if you need to go to trial, he will handle your case from start to finish. Furthermore, as a former Alternate Municipal Judge for the city of North Las Vegas, Eric is familiar with all sides of the legal process. He can give you the expert advice you need for your case.
