Jim Carmichael has practiced law in St. Charles County since 1979. He began as a general practitioner, working in a wide range of legal areas, and for the past 20 years has focused specifically in criminal defense and personal injury.

Carmichael has handled numerous jury trials representing the plaintiffs in personal injury cases, mainly in the areas of automobile crashes and premises liability.
Highly regarded in the legal profession, Carmichael has received an AV rating, the highest rating awarded to attorneys by the prestigious firm of Martindale Hubbell.
