Leslie Cimadevilla, is one of the founding members of the CMO Law Group, LLC. She graduated from St. Thomas University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science with a specialization in Latin American Affairs, as well as a minor in Communication Arts in 1996. After spending some time at the United States Department of State as Consular Officer Intern for Child Services, she realized her passion for international, legislative and family affairs. She moved from Washington D.C. and back to her native State of Florida where she received her Juris Doctorate from Barry University School of Law where she excelled and received extensive recognition, including The Florida Association of Trial Lawyers Student Award and Tonya Young Scholarship. Mrs. Cimadevilla also interned for the 17th Circuit, was President of the Hispanic Association of Law Students, participated in achieving national recognition for the law school while clerking for a worker’s compensation firm on her spare time.
Mrs. Cimadevilla has also zealously represented private investors, hedge funds, servicers, national mortgage lenders and financial institutions throughout Florida. She has handed both residential and commercial foreclosures and has litigated and mediated thousands of foreclosure cases. Mrs. Cimadevilla also handles marital and family cases, including compassionate representation and protection of same-sex partnerships and their families. Additionally, she handles all aspects of real estate and business law, including business consulting, real estate litigation, transactional, and title underwriting.
