BTLG, Business & Technology Law Group, was created in 2000 to address the specialized needs of business. BTLG has represented more than 1500 clients doing business in the Mid-Atlantic region. These clients operate in diverse areas of industry, including retail, manufacturing, intellectual property, and other commercial products, and services.

BTLG represents businesses in a variety of industries. Although we represent some large, and public companies, our clients are typically small to medium-sized companies, and entrepreneurs. See Representative Clients
Does BTLG have a specialty?
The ethical rules that govern the practice of law in Maryland do not allow us to claim a "specialty". BTLG does, however, have substantial experience in a number of areas including computer technology development and licensing transactions and litigation, employer-employee issues, small business acquisitions and commercial contracts.

Does BTLG handle litigation?
BTLG has represented clients at every level of Maryland's State and Federal courts. While often these matters are small in dollar value, we are often called upon to manage, and take to trial, complex pieces of litigation involving tens of thousands of pages of documents and dozens of witnesses.
