The offices of Coker, Robb & Cannon, Family Lawyers, opened in August 1998 as CokerLegal. We chose to become a part of the Denton County community because we found it to be a place that continues to embrace the traditional values of community. We are proud to be a part of a caring and connected society. As we've grown, we also represent clients in Collin County and really enjoy helping clients in both counties with their family law cases.
Our office focuses on our clients. We strive to return your phone calls, answer your emails, remember your appointments, and treat you like the important person that you are to our family law practice. This might sound like common sense, but we find that the number one complaint of clients, who come to us after working with other family lawyers, is that they did not receive the customer service they felt the deserved and, in many cases, couldn't even get someone to return their call. We do not have that problem at our office.
We even stay in touch with clients after their legal matter is completed and many of our clients choose to become fans of our law office Facebook Page. Check us out on Facebook at CokerLegal.
Our Denton office assists clients in many ways:
Shareholders Duane L. Coker, Kelly K. E. Robb and Jacqueline D. Cannon, along with our team of associate attorneys are family lawyers that have been serving Denton and Collin Counties for more than 20 years. More than just Texas divorce lawyers, our office helps clients in Denton and Collin County with child custody litigation, adoption, child support, modifications, and juvenile cases.
We also handle probate litigation, including guardianships, probating Wills, and Will contests.
With the presence of the Denton State School and several senior communities, Denton County has one of the highest per capita rates for guardianship cases in Texas. Our Statutory Probate Court strictly enforces the requirements of the Texas Probate Code that guardianships be tailored in the least restrictive fashion possible. Hiring a Denton, Texas lawyer, familiar with the specific requirements of the Denton County Statutory Probate Court, is a good first step in obtaining the guardianship you need to help your loved ones in his or her time of need.
One of our areas of practice which we are most excited about is assisting clients with Collaborative Law cases. In these cases, clients agree to settle their case with the opposing party in a dignified and efficient manner without contested Court proceedings.
Duane L. Coker, Kelly K. E Robb, and Jacqueline D. Cannon are trained in Collaborative Law. Duane is a charter member of the Collaborative Law Institute of Texas and is active in both local and international Collaborative Law groups.
We are happy to assist Denton County and Collin County clients in any of our primary law practice areas.
