This firm was founded by O. Fayrell Furr, Jr., in 1979 as Law Offices of O. Fayrell Furr, Jr., P.A., in Columbia, South Carolina. In 1990 the firm name was changed to Law Offices of Furr and Henshaw, P.A. and to Furr, Henshaw and Ohanesian in 2001. Starting with a local general practice, the firm now serves the entire state of South Carolina and maintains two fully staffed offices concentrating in the areas of medical malpractice, personal injury, and products liability. The firm encourages continuing professional development and all members participate in continuing legal education seminars and professional association activities. The firm is listed in the medical malpractice, personal injury and civil trial practice sections of the Martindale-Hubbell Bar Register of Preeminent Lawyers.
