I have tried hundreds of Criminal cases in State and Federal Courts. I have also settled and tried to verdict hundreds of Personal Injury cases including vehicle injury accidents, slip and fall, medical malpractice and more.
I obtained my law degree from the University of Baltimore Law School in 1981 and was admitted to the Maryland Bar in the same year. Subsequently, I was admitted to the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fourth Circuit Court in 1990 as well as the Eastern District of New York. Former Assistant Public Defender for Baltimore City from 1983 to 1987. During my tenure I worked in the Misdemeanor Trial Unit, from 1983 to 1984 and in the Felony Trial Unit from 1984 to 1987. I am a member of the Maryland Criminal Defense Attorneys Association.
I have also been awarded the prestigious John Adams Award by my peers for outstanding trial work in the U.S. District Court of Maryland in 2015.
