Personal injury attorney Jason M. Hatfield focuses his practice on personal injury litigation, including motor vehicle and truck accidents, construction accidents, slip-and-fall cases, products liability, workers' compensation and Social Security Disability cases. He has participated in hundreds of depositions and bench trials, and he has extensive trial experience before state and federal courts in Arkansas.
In addition, Mr. Hatfield has successfully reversed trial court rulings in several reported cases before the Arkansas Court of Appeals, the Arkansas Supreme Court and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 8th Circuit. He is a frequent lecturer for continuing legal education seminars on a variety of litigation topics, including courtroom technology, expert witnesses, workers' compensation, premises liability and truck accidents.
Mr. Hatfield began his career at the Niblock Law Firm in Fayetteville, where he gained experience in personal injury litigation, first-party insurance, workers' compensation and products liability cases. He holds a Bachelor of Science in microbiology and a Master of Science in food science, both from the University of Arkansas. He earned his Juris Doctor from the University of Arkansas School of Law in 1997.
Mr. Hatfield is admitted to practice before Arkansas state courts, and he is highly involved in several legal organizations. He is a former president and active member of the Washington County Bar Association, and he is also a member of the American Association for Justice, the Arkansas Bar Association and the Arkansas Trial Lawyers Association. He has received numerous awards in recognition of his service to this latter organization, including the President's Award in 2008. He has served five terms on the organization's board of governors, and he currently serves on the legislative committee and is a member of the Golden Gavel Club.
