About the Firm

Mark R. Walling concentrates his practice in the areas of Estate Planning, Elder Law, Employment Law, Commercial Litigation, and Education Law.

Mr. Walling received his bachelor's degree with high honors from Duke University, and his law degree from the University of North Carolina, where he achieved the Best Brief award in the law school's Moot Court Competition. Mr. Walling has practiced law since 1980.

From 1984 to 1995, Mr. Walling served as an Assistant Attorney General for New York State. In that position, he represented state agencies and their employees in the federal and state courts. His cases involved complex issues of employment discrimination, civil rights, and claims of unconstitutional actions. His trial practice included jury trials, as well as appellate litigation.

Mr. Walling has taught federal court practice at the University at Buffalo law school, as well as continuing legal education seminars on Elder Law, Estate Planning, Guardianship, Employment Litigation and Education Law.
