Less than 0.5% of all Florida attorneys are Board Certified in Wills, Trusts and Estates. Board Certification is the highest level of evaluation by the Florida Bar of the competency and experience of the attorney and means that the attorney has special knowledge, skills and proficiency in the certified area of practice, plus character, ethics and professionalism in the practice of law.

Estate, trust, probate and guardianship litigation As a Board Certified Specialist in Wills, Trusts and Estates, R. Craig Harrison and John Lyons have an extensive background in estate and trust litigation. This experience includes disputes relating to the exploitation of an elderly person by a predatory relative, friend, neighbor or caretaker, the prosecution and defense of claims against a trust and/or an estate and general inheritance issues.

In the event that the elderly adult or other family members require protection from such exploitation which cannot be resolved through estate planning or the negotiation of a prompt and fair resolution, a guardianship proceeding may be necessary. We have the experience to guide the family through this process as well as defend the elderly person from the wrongful filing of such a proceeding.
