Our Attorneys

Jerry Meyers, the firm's founder, brings over 30 years of experience in medical malpractice litigation to the table. A former navy hospital corpsman and respiratory therapist, Jerry has devoted his entire career to representing people injured by medical negligence. After working in hospitals and seeing patients suffer needless injury, he felt an intense drive to make a difference in the medical field.

Charles Evans has nearly 40 years of broad-based civil trial experience and commitment to the rights of injured people. He is well known for representing victims of wrongful conduct in virtually every area of personal injury practice. Chuck has been named in the prestigious national publication "Best Lawyers in America" for the handling of personal injury cases since 1993.

Brendan B. Lupetin represents people injured as a result of medical malpractice, motor vehicle accidents, and defective products. He has been practicing since 2005.

Greg Unatin represents people injured as a result of medical malpractice, motor vehicle accidents and defective products. He has been practicing law in Pennsylvania since 2006.

Representation of individuals victimized by defective medical products, motor vehicle negligence and food-borne illnesses are just a few of our team's other areas of interest. Our Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania lawyers also have a wealth of experience litigating numerous birth injury, cerebral palsy, brain damage and wrongful death cases.

On-Staff Medical Practitioners

One of the most important aspects of our firm's operation is the initial client contact and screening of all potential injury cases. It is common that most people when faced with investigating a catastrophic medical malpractice or wrongful death claim end up talking to secretaries or paralegals that really do not possess medical knowledge or insights; hence they typically do not know what questions to ask.

At the law offices of Meyers Evans Lupetin & Unatin, it is our medical staff that leads the way in determining where the possible medical negligence occurred.

Each potential client speaks to one of our on-staff nurses, all of whom have had critical care experience.

The firm's attorneys, in-house medical staff, paralegals and support personnel understand the seriousness of each and every potential claim we review. Our attorneys take every case seriously and on an individual basis, carefully considering the unique circumstances of each case.
