In addition to preparing the legal documents for your estate plans, our staff helps ensure your trust is fully “funded.” Funding your trust is the process of transferring your assets from you to your trust. To do this, the titles of your assets are changed from your individual name (or joint names, if married) to the name of your trust. Beneficiary designations are also changed. Our staff will assist you with this process, coordinating with your financial advisors and others for up to 60 days after the signing of your estate planning documents.
