We have represented the debtor in perhaps the largest mass tort-driven chapter 11 bankruptcy ever filed, involving billions of dollars in claims, that involved a multi-year commitment of the firm. We have represented a Chapter 11 trustee/receiver of a massive multi-national bankruptcy estate with parallel proceedings in the United States, the Cayman Islands and London. We have negotiated major purchases of key operations and facilities of the debtor, both for the estate and on behalf of our creditor clients, and have been involved in all aspects of locating and negotiating new financing for our debtor clients, both within a pending case and, often more importantly, as an alternative to bankruptcy.
