Nicholas Sarcone graduated from the University of Iowa School of Law in May 2007. While Nick attended the University of Iowa Law School, he clerked at the Federal Public Defender's Offices for the Northern District of California and for the Southern District of Iowa. In the summer of 2007 Nick moved to Florida, took the Florida Bar exam and became employed at the Hillsborough County Public Defender's Office in Tampa from August 2007 to October 2008. In October 2008 Nick decided to return to his hometown, was admitted to the Iowa bar, and joined a private law firm where he was in general practice with an emphasis on criminal defense. Nick remains licensed to practice in both Florida and Iowa. Nick joined the Stowers Law Firm in April 2010. He then became a partner in Stowers & Sarcone, PLC in January 2014. Nick is a zealous, skilled advocate committed to representing clients skillfully and professionally to achieve the very best outcomes for them.
Upon graduation in 2003 from AIB College of Business, Amy Nauman began working as a Legal Assistant for Dean Stowers. Amy has a combined total of 8 years experience as a legal assistant. She has experience in trial support in civil and criminal litigation, transcription, organizing and summarizing discovery materials and preparing legal documents. As a legal assistant, Amy has become highly skilled at complex case organization, including through the use of case management software and techniques. Amy has employed her talents to the benefit of many clients in particularly complex and difficult cases all the way through attending trial as part of a trial team. Amy is devoted to her career in assisting the attorneys in providing the best outcome for the firm's clients.
