The Whitaker Law Firm, LLC was founded upon the principle that everyone should be able to afford an attorney that will fight aggressively and competently for their cause. I have had numerous divorce cases, including those that were uncontested (settled outside of court) as well as those that went to trial. I have also had many child custody cases and cases involving a parent's right to visitation with their child. I further have had several cases involving child support, including cases that focused upon a modification of child support due to an increase or decrease in job wages or an increase of unforeseeable expenses of one parent or one child or a minor child's need for college support. I have also had cases involving a person's need for protection from an individual and in some cases helping a falsely accused individual with their defense against protection from abuse orders. I have had experience with the drafting of wills, declarations of power of attorney and living health care directives.
