Combining decades of legal and business experience to provide counsel for clients locally and nationally. Our transactional and litigation attorneys provide experiential depth to creatively and pragmatically navigate complex issues.
At Tueller & Gibbs, LLP, we strive daily to practice law and provide client service with the highest level of proficiency and professionalism while, at the same time, integrating our lives and work into the fabric of our unique community. We thus seek to provide clients with highly effective, cost-efficient legal services, while also nurturing an environment where we raise our families and live our lives in one of the most extraordinary still-unspoiled places in America.
In doing so, we bring to bear decades of both business and legal experience throughout the Western U.S., major business centers across the country, as well as in Europe, Asia and Mexico. In our daily practice, we supplement our small local presence by drawing on an extensive network of affiliated legal counsel and business contacts developed through years of experience in wide-ranging U.S. and international markets - most recently with formal relationships in Denver, Colorado. This allows us to offer both specialized expertise and extra staffing on an "as needed" basis and with consulting co-counsel with expertise in areas such as taxation, water, securities, regulatory, environmental, conservation and nonprofit law, as well as to manage a wide range of general and specialized, complex litigation.
Our firm is structured not only to serve highly-sophisticated clientele - including individual investors, developers, lenders and businesses - but also to counsel locals on everyday matters. Our firm thus uniquely mirrors the ever-evolving Western Slope regional community.
We hold community service as a core value of our firm, devoting a large portion of our resources to pro bono and community endeavors. For example, we pursue extensive lecturing and teaching activities, mentoring of local students, service on school and community committees, as well as chairing of both the local Rotary Club Scholarship Committee and the Statewide Rotary Foundation Ambassadorial Fellowship Program and participation in local Elks Foundation, Pinhead Institute and Just For Kids scholarship and internship programs. We also helped found such local and regional nonprofits as The Pinhead Institute, Just for Kids Foundation and Telluride Tech Festival and provide legal on-going counsel for these entities and others such as the Telluride AIDS Benefit, Telluride Council for the Arts and Humanities, Telluride Historical Museum, Telluride Science and Research Center, Telluride Jazz Festival and the Ah Haa School for the Arts.
