Mark Bahakel has handled a broad range of litigation at both the trial and appellate level in courts across Alabama. His practice has focused on defending transportation, premises liability, products liability, insurance coverage, and bad faith litigation. He is also experienced in handling professional liability and construction defect claims.
Mark was born in Birmingham, Alabama. He is a proud graduate of Birmingham-Southern College and received his law degree in 2003 from the University of Alabama School of Law. He is admitted to practice in all state and federal courts in Alabama, as well as the United States Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit.
Mark is a member of the American Bar Association, Alabama State Bar Association, Alabama Defense Lawyers Association, Transportation Lawyers Association, Birmingham Bar Association, and the Birmingham Inns of Court.
Mark and his wife, Natalie, are active members of Our Lady of Sorrows Church in Homewood, Alabama. Outside of the office, Mark spends most of his time on family, church, reading history, watching college football, and playing with his two young children, Mark, Jr. and Mary Ella.
