Adam D. Hirtz is a Principal and the Office Litigation Manager in the St. Louis, Missouri, office of Jackson Lewis P.C. He has 20 years of experience as a trial attorney representing businesses in employment and commercial litigation in both state and federal courts throughout the country. He also acts as a mediator, including regularly mediating cases for the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC).
Mr. Hirtz has handled scores of employment litigation cases to enforce non-compete agreements and to prevent the dissemination of trade secrets by former employees. He is experienced in representing clients in cases of alleged harassment, discrimination, and retaliation, and he frequently assists clients with issues of OSHA compliance, inspections and resolving or contesting OSHA citations.
Mr. Hirtz is a trusted advisor to the clients he represents by truly learning their businesses, understanding their goals, and providing them with high quality legal services at an affordable rate. Throughout his career, he has represented and counseled clients in industry sectors including manufacturing, construction, HVAC, retail, healthcare, restaurant and hospitality, transportation, banking, and insurance. Within these industries, Mr. Hirtz works closely with company management, human resource directors, in-house counsel, insurance adjusters, employees, and experts to accomplish clients’ litigation and business objectives, including counseling on dispute and liability avoidance techniques.
Mr. Hirtz has previous experience as a clerk for the United States District Court for the Central District of Illinois. During law school, Mr. Hirtz was editor of the Saint Louis University Law Journal.
