Mr. Cantor concentrates his practice in representing catastrophically injured victims and their families in cases involving fire and explosion, defective products, workplace safety and medical malpractice. Mr. Cantor has practiced at Swartz & Swartz, P.C. since 1978. While his practice is centralized in Massachusetts, Maine, New Hampshire, Vermont, Rhode Island, and Connecticut, Mr. Cantor has been involved in litigation and trial in more than 30 states. He has participated in litigation or trial of more than 50 cases involving million dollar recoveries. Mr. Cantor has been named as a Massachusetts "Superlawyer" by Boston Magazine in the area of Plaintiff's Personal Injury for every year since the series started in 2004. He is one of only about 40 plaintiffs' lawyers named as one of "Boston's Best Lawyers" for personal injury litigation. He is also named as one of the "Best Lawyers in America" under personal injury practice. He currently devotes much of his time to sophisticated personal injury, product liability and wrongful death litigation. He also served on the Plaintiffs' Steering Committee in the 550 sexual abuse cases against the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Boston which received a record settlement in 2003. In the last few years he has participated in preparation, trial and appeal of three separate cases in which results in excess of $10 million have been achieved for his clients.
