Alex grew up in Ann Arbor, Michigan where he had the pleasure of watching his grandfather practice law in metro Detroit. His grandfather’s dedication to the craft and ability to satisfy his client’s needs inspired Alex not only to pursue law, but specifically to help those who are suffering injury or personal loss.
While working towards his undergraduate degree in psychology and then his Law degree at the University of Michigan, Alex was awarded the Dean’s Award Scholarship, completed his undergraduate degree with distinction, and was a Campbell Moot Court Competition Participant. He also enjoyed participating in the Family Law Project and was a member of Kappa Kappa Psi- a national honorary music fraternity.
Alex, who is admitted to practice law in Michigan and Illinois, specializes in personal injury, corporate transactional work, family law, medical malpractice, insurance, Federal Torts Claims Act and Qui Tam (whistle blower) litigation. He is a member of ITLA, The Coles County Bar Association and the Injury Board. In his free time, he enjoys watching movies, college football and basketball, traveling and playing Ultimate Frisbee with the Campaign-Urbana Recreational League.
Alex currently resides in Champaign, Illinois with his fiancé; their cat, Pepper; and their dog, Maggie.
