Alice Shapiro is a personal injury attorney at Jurewitz Law Group who brings with her a diverse and extensive legal background. Alice was born in Chicago, Illinois, and grew up in Encinitas with her first language being Russian. Alice started off her legal career in 2007 when she joined a personal injury firm, Law Offices of John Michael Taylor, as a legal assistant. There, she gained valuable litigation experience and developed her passion for personal injury. Working through school, Alice received a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from the University of California San Diego.
After completing her undergraduate work, she attended law school at Thomas Jefferson School of Law in San Diego, where she received honors and the Jefferson Medal for earning top grades in California Legal Research, Client Interviewing, and Advanced Civil Discovery. During her time in law school, Alice acquired a deeper insight into personal injury law while clerking for a personal injury and medical malpractice law firm, Mulligan, Banham & Findley, and the personal injury firm, Goetz Law Firm. Through hard work and determination Alice was licensed on June 1st, 2018.
In her spare time, she loves running, hiking, walking her dog Sasha on the beach, and spending time with her friends and family.
