Amanda J. Andrews is a Partner at Roberts Law Firm, where she has practiced since 2019. Ms. Andrews’s practice focuses primarily on defense representation, including insurance defense and coverage litigation, and business transactions. Ms. Andrews’s background in insurance regulation and compliance includes working as in-house counsel for the insurance regulatory agency in Arkansas and for a property and casualty insurance company. She has represented clients in civil litigation, appeals before the Arkansas Supreme Court and the Arkansas Court of Appeals, and administrative hearings, as well as advising businesses in a variety of regulatory compliance and transactional matters.
Ms. Andrews graduated cum laude with a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Arkansas at Monticello and went on to earn a Juris Doctor from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock William H. Bowen School of Law. During law school, Ms. Andrews was a member of the National Trial Competition Team and co-authored a law review article on the Arkansas Freedom of Information Act. Ms. Andrews was admitted to the Arkansas Bar in 2005 and is also licensed to practice in the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Arkansas. She has taught graduate and undergraduate courses on business law and communications law at several universities.
Ms. Andrews is passionate about animals and has served as a Docent with the Little Rock Zoo since 2010.
