Amy joined Lambert Coffin’s Blue Hill office in 2013, leading a legal team serving the businesses, banks and families of the Blue Hill peninsula and Downeast Maine. Her practice focuses primarily on real estate, corporate, commercial and banking, and estate planning and administration.
In my practice, I draw on my personal and professional experiences to view each situation through my client’s eyes. I firmly believe in demystifying and simplifying the legal process. My advice is practical, efficient and compassionate. I am committed to making every client’s experience with the firm as smooth, hassle-free and pleasant as it can possibly be.
Amy originally joined Lambert Coffin’s Portland office in 2005 in the real estate and corporate groups and has also worked as a real estate and commercial transactions attorney at another major Portland law firm. Prior to taking charge of the Blue Hill office, Amy served as senior corporate counsel and chair of the contracts and intellectual property practice group at Delhaize America (parent company of Hannaford and other retail grocery chains in the eastern U.S.). Before practicing law, Amy held executive management, legal and financial positions at entrepreneurial technology companies in Maine, Illinois and Pennsylvania.
As a result of her broad experience in law firms, in-house and business management, Amy brings an unusual diversity of expertise to the firm. In addition to serving individuals’ legal needs in the areas of real estate and estate planning, she provides expert counsel and advice on all matters relating to businesses, including entity selection and business formation, governance, business contracts of all types, and intellectual property protection.
Amy has lived in Maine for nearly 25 years and recently relocated to the Blue Hill area with her husband Bob. They are busy exploring and getting to know the people and places of this incredibly beautiful part of Maine. Their son Rob graduated from Bowdoin College and is a software engineer living in Boston. In her leisure time, Amy enjoys biking, kayaking, hiking, watching films and sharing good food.
