Amy Wilkens joined Lorber, Greenfield and Polito LLP in 2007. Ms. Wilkens’ practice is focused on the defense of commercial and residential general contractors, developers and construction managers against a variety of claims ranging from contract disputes to construction defect matters. Ms. Wilkens has also handled claims involving products liability, premise liability, professional liability, personal injury, business and property disputes. Ms. Wilkens has experience handling all aspects of civil matters from pre-litigation negotiations through post-judgment enforcement actions and has handled multiple appeals in Arizona Court of Appeals, Divisions One and Two. Ms. Wilkens is admitted to practice in the state and federal (Ninth Circuit) courts of Arizona.
Ms. Wilkens is an active member of the local legal community and is currently serving on the Arizona Association of Defense Counsel Board, previously served on the Association’s Young Lawyer’s Division Board and was a member of the inaugural graduating class of the Association’s Ladder Down Program.
Ms. Wilkens earned her juris doctorate from Thomas Jefferson School of Law after obtaining a bachelor’s degree in History from Arizona State University. Although originally from the East Coast, Ms. Wilkens is a self-classified “near-native” of Arizona and enjoys all that it has to offer, particularly hiking and trail running. Ms. Wilkens also enjoys home improving and traveling with her husband.
