Andrew D. Kinghorn is an Associate in the St. Louis, Missouri office of Jackson Lewis P.C. He has significant experience in all stages of civil litigation, primarily focusing on representing management in employment and labor matters.
Mr. Kinghorn’s practice includes representing clients before administrative agencies and the courts. He has skillfully tried cases in both federal and state court, has helped his clients resolve numerous cases on dispositive motions, has guided his clients to successful outcomes before various appellate courts, and has negotiated favorable settlements for his clients. In addition, he regularly counsels his clients on best practices and strategies to minimize exposure or avoid litigation altogether.
Prior to joining Jackson Lewis, Mr. Kinghorn served as an Assistant Attorney General for the State of Missouri where he was the lead attorney on numerous cases in the office’s Civil Litigation Division. He handled matters on behalf of state agencies and managerial employees in the areas of employment and labor law, contract law, and constitutional law, among others. He was also a key member of the office’s Missouri Human Rights Act task force, handling some of the office's most complex and high value-cases.
