Andrew Miller is a Senior Litigation Counsel in the Washington, DC office of Sanford Heisler Sharp, LLP, a national law firm with offices in New York, California, and Tennessee. He received his bachelor’s degree magna cum laude from New York University and his law degree from Harvard Law School.
Mr. Miller brings a variety of experience to Sanford Heisler Sharp, and his wide range of legal abilities allows him to contribute to the success of several of the Firm’s practice areas. He is steadfast in his commitment to litigating cases that create value for his clients and for society as a whole.
Prior to joining Sanford Heisler Sharp, Mr. Miller worked as an Associate at a boutique plaintiffs’ firm specializing in qui tam litigation. Before joining that firm, he worked as a prosecutor in Suffolk County, Massachusetts (Boston), where he handled hundreds of multifaceted investigations of alleged criminal conduct and tried 30 cases to jury verdict, including cases of firearms violations, narcotics distribution, and sexual abuse of children.
At Harvard Law School, Mr. Miller was elected as a member of the Harvard Legal Aid Bureau, the nation’s oldest student-run legal services organization and one of Harvard Law School’s three historic honors societies. At the Legal Aid Bureau, Mr. Miller represented victims of fraudulent mortgage lending practices and individuals who were being evicted from their homes following foreclosures. Before law school, Mr. Miller worked as a public school teacher in Madrid, Spain. He is fluent in Spanish.
