ABOUT Andrew Preston Brittain

Andrew Preston Brittain (Preston) was born on the Army Base of Fort Hood in Killeen, Texas. Preston graduated from Myrtle Beach High School before moving on to Wofford College. While at Wofford, he served on the Student Union and was selected to participate in the 2002 Presidential Seminar. After graduating in 2002 (cum laude), Preston attended Law School at the University of South Carolina , where he earned his law degree in May 2006 and passed the Bar exam in July of 2006. For both his first and second year summer terms, Preston clerked for Nelson, Mullins, Riley & Scarborough, P.A. (2004 and 2005).

In October of 2006, Preston began a two year clerkship for the United States District Court, State of South Carolina, for the Honorable Terry L. Wooten. At the conclusion of his clerkship, Preston returned home to practice with Hearn, Brittain, and Martin, P.A. Less than a year into his practice, Preston serves as co-counsel on a murder charge where the jury returned a verdict of not guilty. In May of 2010, Preston became a partner of the Brittain Law Firm, P.A. Since then, he has successfully litigated numerous personal injury cases and mold cases. He continued to practice in all matters of trial, including criminal, civil, social security and disability. He is licensed to practice law in both South Carolina State and Federal Courts. Preston is a member of the South Carolina Bar Association, Horry County Bar Association, South Carolina Association for Justice and the South Carolina Judicial Conference.

In November of 2008, Preston married Elizabeth Anne Dunbar of Columbia, South Carolina.
