ABOUT Anthony V. Locascio

Anthony, is one of few attorneys that is Board Certified by the Supreme Court of New Jersey in civil trial practice. A graduate of Fairfield University (1995) and of Seton Hall University School of Law (1998) he began his career by serving as judicial law clerk for the Honorable Douglas Hague who governed the medical malpractice calendar for Middlesex County. Strictly interested in helping hurt people obtain justice, he began trying cases before judges and juries in 1999. He has handles cases where people have been hurt in motor vehicle accidents, serious falls because of dangerous conditions, defective products, medical and nursing home negligence, and construction accidents. Multiple cases he has handled have received statewide attention via reported results in “New Jersey Law Journal,” and “Verdict Search.” Most recently one of his cases was featured in the “New Jersey Law Journal” as the third top settlements in New Jersey in 2015.

He has made appearances on both radio, CourtTV and CNN to discuss a variety of legal topics and cases. He was a featured guest on both radio and tv: “Prime Time with Nancy Grace” on CNN, “Closing Arguments with Nancy Grace,” CourtTV; “Both Sides with Kimberly Guiloyle and Vinnie Politan,” CourtTV; “Trial Heat with Lisa Bloom and Amanda Grove,” CourtTV; as well as “Weekend Addition,” CNN. Enjoying the art of teaching, he frequently gives seminars to a variety of different audiences. He has spoken to local schools discussing the legal implications of bullying, and the responsibilities of investigating abused children and DYFS involvement. For over 15 years he has studied and taught the art and science of body language, lecturing and training law students (Rutgers and Seton Hall), practicing attorneys, prosecutors, police officers, and Judges. He was also featured on CNN as a body language expert on “Prime News with Vinnie Politan.” He has written articles for attorneys in the “New Jersey Lawyer Weekly Newspaper,” and also for the public as the author of a column “Legally Speaking” which appeared in The Journal Magazine and circulated throughout Monmouth County New Jersey. In this column, he sought to better educate the community as to the law as he answered questions from his readers and explained important (and sometimes misunderstood) legal concepts.

He is a member of the American Bar Association, the New Jersey Association of Justice, the New Jersey State Bar Association and the Monmouth Bar Association. He has served as a trustee and member of Trial Attorneys of New Jersey, and as Co-Chair of the Professionalism Committee for the Monmouth County Bar Association. Currently, he is a Trustee for the Monmouth County Bar Association as well as a member of the Civil Practice Committee for the Monmouth Bar.
