Ms. Davenport graduated from the University of Southern California with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science. During her time at USC, Ms. Davenport was a member of the crew team that competed at the Pac-10 Championships. After graduation, Ms. Davenport attended Pepperdine University School of Law where she graduated with her law degree as well as a certificate from the Geoffrey H. Palmer Center for Entrepreneurship and the Law. Ms. Davenport was an editor of the Pepperdine Dispute Resolution Law Journal and her article on the role of forgiveness in the field of medical malpractice was selected for publication in the Spring of 2006. Ms. Davenport was previously an associate with Pat Barrera for many years, receiving valuable training in complex cases concerning employment disputes, employment class actions, consumer class actions and civil rights in state and federal court. Ms. Davenport has been appointed by the Courts as class counsel in several wage and hour class actions.Prior to her return to Barrera & Associates in 2013, Ms. Davenport was an associate with Garcia, Artigliere & Schadrack, a firm focused on elder abuse and neglect. Through her years with this firm, Ms. Davenport handled countless cases representing aggrieved individuals with claims for elder abuse, wrongful death and nursing home neglect. Ms. Davenport has been admitted to practice before all of the courts of the State of California. She is a member in good standing of the Los Angeles County Bar Association and the State Bar of California.
