Attorney Baskin Jones is a lifelong Mississippi resident who was born in Jackson, Mississippi. He spent his early life in the Mississippi Delta. The effects of corporate negligence and greed were easy to see in the condition of corporate facilities and injuries to workers in local factories. This inequality left a lasting mark on Mr. Jones and today he works to safeguard Mississippians from corporate injustice and insurance companies. Mr. Jones calls Jackson home, and has no plans of that changing as he has a specific desire to bring about revitalization to the Jackson area. Part of this desire is met by providing exceptional legal service to the citizens of the greater Jackson Area as a Mississippi Personal Injury Attorney.
Mr. Jones and his wife, K.C. enjoy living in the historic Fondren Neighborhood in Jackson with their three children and dog, Atticus. Mr. Jones stays involved in the local community by speaking to high-schoolers about distracted-driving and speaking to elementary school children about the importance of wearing helmets while riding bikes.
Mr. Jones’s practice revolves around all types of personal injuries, from deaths caused by others (wrongful deaths), insurance disputes, premises liabilities (injuries on someone’s property), 18-wheeler or trucking wrecks, and car wrecks, but also includes Social Security Disability cases, will and estate planning, and business law in and around the state of Mississippi.
Education
Mr. Jones is a proud alumnus of Belhaven University in Jackson, Mississippi where he earned an athletic scholarship for the men’s soccer team and obtained a Bachelor of the Sciences in Psychology and a Minor in Business. Mr. Jones has utilized his Psychology background in the courtroom and at the settlement table for his clients as a Mississippi Personal Injury Attorney. Mr. Jones’s Juris Doctor was earned at the University of Mississippi School of Law. Mr. Jones is admitted to practice law in all of the State courts of Mississippi and the United States District Courts for the Northern and Southern Districts of Mississippi.
