Brent D. Hartman

Brent Hartman devotes his practice to civil litigation, with a focus on the areas of medical malpractice, construction, product liability, and personal injury/wrongful death. A native of North Central Florida, Mr. Hartman began his legal career at a litigation firm in Orlando and also practiced at a litigation firm in Gainesville before joining Bice Cole.

Mr. Hartman received his undergraduate degree from the University of Maryland, majoring in History. While at Maryland, he also worked for four years as a manager for the men’s basketball team, including the 2004 ACC Champions. He went on to serve as a graduate assistant basketball coach at Tulane University in New Orleans before beginning his legal studies. He received his law degree from the University of Florida, where he graduated cum laude.

Mr. Hartman is a member of the Florida Bar, the Florida Defense Lawyers Association, and serves on the Eighth Judicial Circuit Bar Association Professionalism Committee. He is also admitted to practice before the United States District Courts for the Middle and Northern Districts of Florida.
