Brian C. Miles graduated from the California State University, Northridge by obtaining a Bachelor of Arts Degree in 1991. From 1992 to 1997, Mr. Miles was a Legislative Aide to Assemblyman Curtis R. Tucker, Jr. who represented the 51st Assembly District. Mr. Miles then served as District Director from 1997 to 2001 for United States Congresswoman Juanita Millender-McDonald (deceased) who represented the 37th Congressional District.
He obtained a Juris Doctor Degree from Western State University College of Law in 2000, after which he was admitted to the California State Bar as an Attorney and Counselor at Law in 2001. He is also licensed to practice before the United States District Court for the Central District of California, Southern District of California, Eastern District of California and Northern District of California.
Mr. Miles began his legal career as a sole practitioner in 2001, and made bankruptcy, probate, family and criminal law the areas of focus for his practice. He partnered with Cornell L. Hatcher in 2002, and started the Law Office of Miles & Hatcher LLP. Since the establishment of the firm, Mr. Miles has continued to focus his practice on the areas of Estate Planning, Family Law, Criminal Law, Bankruptcy, Probate, Personal Injury and Civil Litigation.
