Broderick L. Young is a partner at Arnett, Draper & Hagood, handling a wide range of litigation and dispute resolution matters on behalf of the firm's corporate and individual clients. Mr. Young's practice is devoted exclusively to civil litigation, with an emphasis on business litigation and professional liability defense. He has tried many cases in Courts throughout the nine county region surrounding Knoxville, including jury trials which involved matters related to breach of contract, insurance defense, and personal injury. In addition to his trial experience, Mr. Young has represented clients in matters ranging from business torts, employment discrimination, estate litigation, and products liability. He earned his B.A. Degree from the University of Tennessee at Knoxville in 1994, and his J.D. Degree from the Catholic University of America in Washington, D.C in 1998.
Mr. Young has been named a Master of the Bench of the Hamilton Burnett American Inn of Court. He is an active member of the Knoxville Bar Association, where he currently serves as a member of the Judicial Committee. He is also a member of the Tennessee and American Bar Associations. Mr. Young is also active in the Knoxville community, where he has served on the Board of the Moses Teen Center of the Knoxville Boys and Girls Club, and has also served as President of the Knoxville Civitan Club.
