Caitlin K. Carpenter (née Nicholl) is a partner with the firm. Since the beginning of her career with the firm in 2010, Caitlin has been actively involved in representing children poisoned by lead due to the negligence of landlords. She successfully represents people injured through the wrongful and/or negligent acts of others, including individuals and families injured by nursing home negligence, medical malpractice and asbestos exposure. Caitlin also represents clients seeking to recover unpaid overtime wages from their employers. She was named to the 2018 and 2019 Maryland Rising Stars list by Super Lawyers.
Caitlin is active in community service. She served on the Board of Directors of Meals on Wheels of Central Maryland from 2014 to 2016 and served on the Board of Directors of the Baltimore Animal Rescue and Care Shelter (BARCS) from 2015 to 2018. Caitlin has volunteered for Meals on Wheels of Central Maryland, delivering meals in Anne Arundel County. She has also volunteered with Pets on Wheels of Maryland, taking her pet Labrador Retriever to visit patients at nursing homes and assisted living facilities. While studying at Notre Dame, she was an accomplished flutist and piccolo soloist in the University Band and Symphonic Winds. Music is a big part of Caitlin’s life.
