ABOUT Caitlin P. Cascino

Caitlin Petry Cascino provides strategic counseling to private- and public-sector employers to ensure legal compliance and reduce the risks of litigation. She advises management on matters related to employee discipline and discharge, leaves of absence, accommodations, and separation agreements, among others. She also offers practical and cost-effective employment and labor law training, tailored to each employer’s industry and workforce; drafts employee handbooks and policies to ensure compliance with federal and state laws; and conducts internal investigations regarding allegations of wrongdoing.

In addition, Caitlin defends employment-related cases in state and federal court and before administrative agencies. She has experience representing management in matters involving discrimination, harassment, retaliation, breach of contract, and wage and hour claims. She also handles traditional labor matters, including union elections, collective bargaining negotiations, unfair labor practice charges, and grievance arbitrations, on behalf of employers.

Caitlin began her legal career as a law clerk to the Honorable Mary Catherine Cuff, P.J.A.D. during Judge Cuff’s assignment to the Supreme Court of New Jersey for the 2012-2013 term. She earned her J.D. from Seton Hall University School of Law, cum laude, where she was an Associate Editor of the Seton Hall Circuit Review, the President of the Employment Law Society, and a Distinguished Scholar. She completed her undergraduate degree in Business Administration at Villanova University in three years, graduating summa cum laude in 2009.
