I was born on June 19, 1946 and grew up in a wonderful Italian neighborhood in Brooklyn, New York. I remember playing street games with my friends’ every day after school and all day during the warm, all too short summers. I graduated Xaverian High School, an all boys’ Catholic school, in 1964. I remember seeing President Eisenhower on TV and watching John F. Kennedy's inaugural address in January 1961. At that time, we had neither cable nor a remote for the black & white TV!
I started undergraduate studies at Temple University in Philadelphia in 1965, when the Vietnam War was on the TV news every night. I joined the Marine Corp in June 1971, did Boot Camp at Parris Island, SC and was stationed in the desert at 29 Palms, CA and also at Camp Pendleton, CA; I was honorably discharged in June 1974. I settled down in 1989 when my son, Justin, was born and completed my undergraduate studies at California State University, Los Angeles. In August 1994, I realized my dream of attending law school and practicing law. You're never too old to fulfill your dreams.
My Philosophy
When I was a kid, if you said that you would do something for another person, you were honor bound to keep your word and a giving of your word or a handshake was all that was needed to make a commitment. It was akin to social suicide to break your word. Nowadays, the "spin" utilized by individuals and organizations has imbued a sense of uncertainty as to what is being said or offered and, consequently, we do not know exactly what it is that we will receive.
Here is what you will receive from me:
When you contact my Law Office, you will receive a personal response from me, the attorney. One of the advantages of working with a sole practitioner is that when you call, I pick up the line and return calls myself;
I'm an attorney, not a sales person or a politician. You will receive straight answers to your straight questions; and
You will receive value for your legal dollar. And, since frankness is not a one-way street, in return I ask that you be straightforward with me.
Let's face it, many attorneys can get the job done. You will become my client not only because you trust my legal advice, but also because you're comfortable with me. As your attorney, you must trust my legal experience, my instincts and, ultimately, me personally.
I have helped hundreds of people resolve dire financial circumstances through Bankruptcy and other means. In Family Law matters (Divorce, Dissolution and Uncontested Divorce, Custody, Child Support and Visitation) my goal is not only staunch representation of your interests, but also to minimize your emotional turmoil. I have been through a contested divorce and know what it's like.
Fully informed clients make better decisions. If questions arise during the legal process, you must ask them. Contact me for a free initial consultation.
