Cheryl L. Ferguson

Ms. Ferguson was an environmental chemist and project manager in Southern California for many years before transitioning into the legal field. She first practiced law with an insurance defense firm for several years in San Jose, California, then worked as a contract attorney, before joining The Grunsky Law Firm where she now focuses on legal research and writing.

Ms. Ferguson received her Juris Doctorate from California Pacific School of Law and her Master of Business Administration from the University of Phoenix. She earned her Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry at Pitzer College in Claremont, California.

Ms. Ferguson grew up in Hawaii before moving to California to attend college. She has lived in Santa Cruz County since 2002, and has been active in several local non-profit organizations. She is a member of the Santa Cruz County Bar Association and currently serves on the Board of Trustees for Georgiana Bruce Kirby Preparatory School in Santa Cruz.
