ABOUT Chip Williams

Chip E. Williams was born in Beckley, West Virginia on June 23, 1974. He was admitted to the West Virginia Bar in 1999.

Mr. Williams is a member of the Raleigh County Bar Association and is admitted to practice before the West Virginia Supreme Court of Appeals and the United States District Court for the Southern District of West Virginia.

Mr. Williams attended West Virginia University earning his B.S. in Accounting in 1996. He continued his education at the West Virginia University College of Law and earned his J.D. in 1999. While at West Virginia University, Mr. Williams was a cum laude graduate of the College of Business in Economics. He also served as the Summit (equivalent of president) of Mountain Honorary (West Virginia University's ranking honorary); the Treasurer for the student body, and the president of the Christian Student Fellowship.

Mr. Williams became associated with Pullin, Fowler & Flanagan in 1999. He became a member of the firm at the age of 30, which makes him the youngest person to make partner in the firm history.

His primary focus is in education law, civil rights litigation and general governmental liability.

Mr. Williams has taught multiple seminars dealing with school law, police liability and toxic torts.

Mr. Williams has tried cases in Federal Court as well as in every county in southeastern West Virginia.
